USE OF IL10 HAPLOTYPE FOR PREDICTING PREDISPOSITION TO ATOPIC DERMATITIS

Use of IL10 haplotype for predicting predisposition to atopic dermatitis is provided, thereby verifying that the IL10 haplotype is significantly related to the serum IgE level of a patient suffering from atopic dermatitis. A method for predicting initiation or progression of atopic dermatitis comprises measuring IL10 haplotype dose-dependently related to the serum IgE level of an object, wherein the IL10 haplotype is IL-haplotype2(IL10-ht2); the IL10 haplotype is in inverse proportion to the serum total IgE level of a patient suffering from atopic dermatitis in a gene amount-dependent manner; and the measurement of the haplotype is carried out by performing PCR using one or more primers having the nucleotide sequence selected from SEQ ID NO:1 to SEQ ID NO:12.
