An EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation) system with double coolant flow paths is provided to increase a fuel consumption ratio, to reduce smoke, and to reduce nitrogen oxide, by keeping temperature of exhaust gas flowing in a cylinder optimum according to engine rpm(revolutions per minute) and engine load. An EGR system with double coolant flow paths comprises exhaust inflow and outflow lines(11',11'') connecting an exhaust manifold(Ex) and an intake manifold(Ix) to make exhaust gas exhausted from an engine(E) flow into the engine again by controlling the exhaust gas through an EGR valve(V); a main cooler(10) cooling temperature of the exhaust gas by utilizing a coolant discharged after circulating through the engine; a sub-cooler(20) cooling exhaust gas through the coolant directly circulating from a radiator(R) when bypassing exhaust gas passes through the front end of the main cooler, and making the exhaust gas flow into the engine again; and a controller(30) directly circulating the coolant from the radiator while bypassing a recirculation path of exhaust gas toward the sub-cooler when the temperature of the exhaust gas exhausted from the engine is over a predetermined value.
