A thawing device of a vehicle is provided to melt and remove snow or ice easily by mounting a heating unit in a roof or a trunk of the vehicle, and to open the door smoothly by operating the heating unit in freezing the rubber packing of the door of the vehicle. Heating units(3a,4a) are installed inside a trunk(4) of a vehicle or in the upper part of the trunk, and inside a roof(3) or in the upper part of the roof to melt snow or ice on the trunk or the roof of the vehicle. The door is opened smoothly in freezing the door of the vehicle with the heating unit inside or outside the rubber packing mounted in the door of the vehicle. Heating is stopped by automatically cutting off power in increasing temperature of the heating unit over the reference value by a temperature sensor, and temperature of the heating unit is adjusted by a control unit. Power is supplied from a power supply unit to the heating unit in turning on a heating unit operation switch.
