LIGHT PEN AND LIGHT-SENSITIVE LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY SYSTEM HAVING THE SAME

摘要

A light pen for inputting information to a display device and a light sensing LCD system having the same are provided to offer a simple structure, largely reduce weight and volume, and reduce surface damages of a display device by inputting the information with use of a part of light generated from the display device. An LCD(400) emits the first image light by using liquid crystal(430) placed between the first electrodes(440) and the second electrodes(450) facing the first electrodes. The light pen(300) including a body and a light converter converting the part of the first image light inputted from the outside into a sensing light by being installed to the body. A light detector(460) placed between the first electrodes outputs a detection signal including incident position information of the sensing light by detecting the sensing light. A driving module(500) generates the second image light by converting arrangement of the liquid crystal according to the detection signal.
