A memory controller (1) divides a storage area of a non-volatile memory (2) into first and second blocks (20A, 20B), continuously write data into each of the blocks (20A, 20B), and reads out data from the storage area. The memory controller (1) includes a first write unit (12A) for writing data into the first block (20A) and a second write unit (12B) for writing data into the second block (20B) after completion of data write by the first write unit (12A) followed by waiting for a time substantially equal to the time at least required for the power source voltage to lower to a voltage value at which data write to the storage area cannot be performed by the power supply cut off.
