摘要 PURPOSE: An underwater acoustic transducer is provided to improve efficiency by equalizing an oscillation frequency of a vibrating system with the frequency of a driving signal. CONSTITUTION: An underwater acoustic transducer includes a front weight(1), a central weight(2), and a real weight(3). The central and rear weights serve as counter masses. A piezoelectric element is implemented between the front and central weights. A magnetostrictive element(14), which is formed between the central and rear weights, is integrated with the piezoelectric element via an elastic bolt(6,15). The elastic bolts are arranged along an axis direction of a transducer body. A vibrating system of the transducer freely vibrates in the axis direction on a periphery of the central and rear weights. A mounting member(10) with low rigidity covers the vibrating system so that the system is firmly supported in a diameter direction.
