PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device capable of surely executing processing in response to a request from a mobile phone connected to and controlled by the terminal device or from a mobile phone operated on the terminal device. SOLUTION: The communication terminal device acquires desired information from an external device through communication and stores the information to a memory on the basis of a request from the application program, a communication unit such as the mobile phone being connected to the communication terminal device. The communication terminal device controls the communication unit such as the mobile phone connected to the communication terminal device, the memory has a memory area for storing data received from the communication unit and the application program and for storing software MODEM used for controlling communication between the communication unit and the application program, and the software MODEM stores the data received from the communication unit or the application program to the memory area and sequentially processes the data on the basis of preset priority when a prescribed amount of the data is stored.
