PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure sufficient fixing strength and to achieve speeding up in warming up and reduction in power consumption, even when attached quantity of toner is reduced. SOLUTION: A color toner image T is carried to a heating region X of an intermediate transfer belt 21 by a heating roll 22 along with the rotational movement of the intermediate transfer belt 21, melted by heat in the heating region X of the intermediate transfer belt 21, maintained at 125°C and furthermore, carried to a transfer fixing nip region N between a press roll 23 and a heat roll 22. In addition, recording paper P is fed between the intermediate transfer belt 21 and the press roll 23 at the carrying timing of the heat-melted toner image T.
