PURPOSE: A method for correcting a mobile phone having an automatic power control function and its correcting system are provided to perform correction quickly and conveniently by obtaining corrected DAC control values and fine-tuned DAC control values by simply measuring output powers for a testing. CONSTITUTION: A correction system(500) for correcting a mobile phone(506) having an automatic power control function includes a radiowave signal measuring unit(502) and a host(504). The mobile phone(506) includes an RF antenna and a DAC control value register. The correction system(500) controls the 'I' number of output powers of the RF antenna of the mobile phone(506) corresponding to the 'I' number of power control levels of the mobile phone(506). Herein, 'I' is a positive integer, and in ETSI(European Telecommunication Standard Institute) power control specification, the 'I' value is 32. The 'I' number of DAC control values for determining the 'I' number of output powers are stored in the DAC control value register. The radiowave signal measuring unit(502) measures an output power discharged from the mobile phone(506). The host(504) includes RF correction software for correcting the mobile phone(506) and receives the measured value from the radiowave signal measuring unit(502).
