<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical head which is an optical pickup made suitable for a high density/high capacity type optical disk and is made of an objective lens that makes a small amount of generation of astigmatism or the like while forming a spot and makes less fluctuation. <P>SOLUTION: Heating up or temperature rise of an objective lens 11 is suppressed by forming ring shaped heat radiating fins 11c on a flange section 11b of the objective lens 11. Thus, when a spot is formed on an optical recording surface using the objective lens 11, astigmatism and spherical aberration or the like are hardly generated and high detection precision and recording precision or the like are secured for an optical head made of the high NA objective lens 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
