<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time needed for scanning/driving an objective condenser lens and a reference mirror of an interferometer in the optical axis direction and display a tomographic image of an analyte at high speed by using dispersed light of each wavelength for acquiring reflective light intensity information of each position in the depth direction of the analyte. <P>SOLUTION: The tomographic imaging system comprises a light source section, a Michelson interferometer section, and a signal processor 61 (including an image display section 71). The light source section comprises a low coherent light source 10 which emits multi-wavelength light and a condenser lens 11. The Michelson interferometer section comprises: four optical fibers 21, 22, 23, 24; a 2×2 coupler 25; an objective condenser lens 32 placed at the front of the analyte 31 and having longitudinal chromatic aberration; a concave first diffraction grating 41 having a chromatic dispersion function and a light focusing function; a concave reference mirror 42 which provides regular reflection allowing focused light of each wavelength to return along its incident optical path; a concave second diffraction grating 51 having a color dispersion function and a light focusing function; a photodetector 52 which acquires analyte information for each wavelength (for each depth). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
