COIN DISCRIMINATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin discrimination device detecting presence/absence of abnormal coin among coins inserted from a coin inlet for collecting a normal coin and returning the abnormal coin to the coin inlet by arranging a storage means storing the number of accumulative abnormal coin occurrences for each abnormal type in detection of the abnormal coin for eliminating a determination mistake induction factor in abrasion/deterioration determination by the coin discrimination device when a returned coin is inserted again repeatedly in a short time. SOLUTION: This coin discrimination device constructed to detect presence/absence of the abnormal coin inserted from the coin inlet and to collect the normal coin while return the abnormal coin to the coin inlet is provided with a storage means storing the number of accumulative abnormal coin occurrences for each abnormal type in detection of the abnormal coin and a prohibition means prohibiting operation of the storage means for a predetermined time after operation of the storage means.
