DATA TRANSFER CONTROLLER, DISK RECORDER, AND DATA TRANSFER CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer controller with high scalability. SOLUTION: A data transfer controller 10 controls data transfer between a camera 60 or a monitor 62 for processing a synchronization signal and an HDD 64 for processing an asynchronization signal. The data transfer controller 10 is provided with: a CPU interface part 12 to which a CPU 42 for outputting a data transfer instruction is connected; a synchronization signal interface part 14 to which the camera 60 or the monitor 62 is connected; and a device controller interface part 16 to which a device controller 22 for controlling the HDD 64 is connected. The CPU 42 and the CPU interface part 12 are connected through a PCI bus 28. The device controller 22 and the device controller interface part 16 are connected through a local PCI bus 30. The CPU interface part 12 converts an address accessed by the CPU 42 into the corresponding address of the device controller 22 to distribute a control signal and data. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
