PURPOSE: A separating device and a method are provided to equally rotate workpieces placed on a turn table at the predetermined angle and to use as a conveyor system for moving intermittently the workpieces by installing a wide belt to the outer periphery of a rotary member. CONSTITUTION: A separating device is composed of a housing(1); a rotary shaft(10) fixed and combined on a table for separating and moving workpieces; a first fixing member(20) fastened and joined to one end of the housing; a rotary member(30) slid bidirectionally along the length of the rotary shaft and engaged slidably with the first fixing member to turn primarily the rotary shaft at the predetermined angle; a second fixing member(40) fixed and joined to the other end of the housing oppositely to the first fixing member and engaged with the rotary member to revolve secondarily the primarily rotated and slid rotary member at the predetermined angle; and nipples(51,52) installed at the outside of the housing to slide the rotary member bidirectionally along the length of the rotary shaft.
