VARIABLE RELUCTANCE TYPE RESOLVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable reluctance type resolver having a rotor with magnetic poles of axial double angles 2X and constituted so as to safely and reliably detect a zero point. SOLUTION: Recession parts or protrusion parts are provided for two magnetic poles or more not exceeding all the magnetic poles of the rotor 20. A plurality of magnetic poles of a stator are provided with zero point detecting windings. Since two detection signals or more are simultaneously generated by the plurality of zero point detecting windings, it is possible to specify the zero point through the use of the relation between the detection signals even when the detection signals have partially disappeared.
