The invention relates to a clip (1) for retaining films, flat-strip cables or the like. The inventive clip is constituted of a lower part (2) which comprises a bottom and spaced apart stops (6, 7) that jut out from said bottom and laterally limit a retaining area, and an upper part (3) opposite the bottom and fixed on the lower part (2). A lead-in (14) is provided between the upper part (3) and the stop (6) disposed on one side of the retaining area. The clip is provided with a cover (4) that overlaps the upper part (3) in the closed position and that is linked with the lower part (2) via a closure, said cover closing the lead-in (14).
