PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photographing device in which usability of an image display unit is improved. SOLUTION: In an LCD unit 16, the long side of a display screen is disposed so as to substantially meet the vertical direction of a casing 12 (see Fig. (A)) in a folded state. Corners of the LCD unit 16 are coupled with the casing 12 by a ball joint (not shown) so that the LCD unit 16 can rotate around each of a first inclined in the vertical and horizontal directions of the casing 12 (rotation of statuses shown in Figs.
