PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop combustion as an abnormal combustion state despite of a normal combustion state, when a flame current reduces by an electric insulating oxide film formed on a surface of a combustion chamber and a flame current detecting electrode by combustion, when an impurity such as organic silicon is included in combustion air and fuel. SOLUTION: A plurality of electrodes for detecting the flame current are respectively arranged in the combustion chamber so as to contact with a flame in an insulated state from the combustion chamber. A first detecting circuit is formed for making an electric current flow in a positive side electrode among the plurality of electrodes and the combustion chamber. A second detecting circuit is formed for making the electric current flow in the positive side electrode and a negative side electrode among the plurality of electrodes. The first detecting circuit and the second detecting circuit are switched by a circuit switching unit, to detect the respective flame currents by a flame current detector.
