PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide welding equipment capable of reducing the weight of a welding tool, uniformly holding a work, realizing excellent heat radiation, facilitating the welding work, and enhancing versatility of the welding tool. SOLUTION: In an upper fixing tool 10 to support an upper work 2A out of welding tools used when welding the upper work 2A to a lower work 3A of a container shape which are obtained by pressing a thin plate to constitute a fuel tank 1, horizontal frames 13 and vertical frames 14 are formed in a lattice, and a plurality of fixing members 15 are attached to adequate portions of the horizontal frames 13 and the vertical frames 14. The fixing members 15 press fixing legs 55 against a surface of the upper work 2A by a spring, and the upper work 2A is supported by the upper fixing tool 10 in a floating manner. A lower fixing tool 20 to support the lower work 3A is integrally attached to the upper fixing tool 10, and an upper attaching seat 16 of the upper fixing tool 10 in this state is supported by a welding robot to perform the welding by freely changing the posture thereof.
