Door stop system comprises a locking element (3) housed in a longitudinal guide (2) for attaching to a door leaf (6) or for integrating in a door leaf in a position in which the locking element faces with its upper end a floor (8) below the door leaf. A device is assigned to the locking element so that the locking element is lowered on crossing over an indicator (19) for a first time and is moved into and held in a raised position on crossing over the indicator for a second time. A recess element (7) for locking the locking element in the floor has at least one stop (10, 11) for the locking element and at least one folding or lowerable element which forms a ramp for the entry and exit of the locking element. The lower end of the locking element is designed so that it slides or rolls into the recess element.
