PURPOSE: A system for managing online attendance/educational affairs of an educational institution on the Internet using a mobile phone, and a controlling method thereof are provided to promptly inform the parent's mobile phone of an attendance status for a student, and offer mark/educational affaires management using an Internet online technology. CONSTITUTION: An educational institution management computer(100) performs entry management and the educational affairs management by certifying a magnetic card(10), a contactless RF(Radio Frequency)/IC card(20), or the mobile phone(30) equipped with an IC chip of the student, and transmits entry data and a mobile phone number of the parent when the students passes a gate. A central server(300) generates a message fit to each situation by receiving the entry data through the Internet(200) and outputs an SMS(Short Message Service) message for the parent's mobile phone(600) through a mobile communication company server(400). The central server includes an attendance information database(310), a mark information database(320), and an educational affairs information database(330). |
