FIELD: equipment for preventing gas leakage from coke furnace risers. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus has shifting lever mounted inside lifting lever and pivotally connected with cover, and shifting lever stroke restricting device. Lifting lever is rigidly connected with its one end to drive shaft and with its other end pivotally connected through shifting lever to cover by means of pins. Lifting lever is in contact with cover pin through slots formed at ends of ribs of lifting lever. Slots are adapted for joining with cover pin so as to be withdrawn from pin and retracted to initial position during rotation of lifting lever. Shifting lever stroke restricting device arranged inside lifting lever is made in the form of partition, which connects ribs of lifting lever and is inclined toward cover. Shifting lever is made in the form of two symmetrically arranged ribs rigidly connected by means of partitions. Planes of ribs of shifting lever are arranged in parallel with plane of ribs of lifting lever. Shifting and lifting levers pivot junction site is arranged above shifting lever stroke limiting device. ^ EFFECT: simplified construction, enhanced reliability and improved gas-tightness of riser cover due to tight adherence of cover to contact surface. ^ 4 dwg |
