<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device of a light emitting display panel that can control light emission characteristics of a light emitting element, for example, by scan lines. <P>SOLUTION: A scan driver 3 successively scans scanning lines K1 to Km arrayed in the display panel in specified cycles to drive light emitting elements E11 to Enm corresponding to the scanning lines being scanned to illuminate, and applies a reverse bias voltage Vk to scanning lines in a non-scanning state. The reverse bias voltage Vk is made to vary in level in synchronism with the driving waveform of the light emitting elements. Consequently, an addition current or extraction current corresponding to the level variation is applied to the light emitting elements which are scanned to illuminate through parasitic capacitors of the light emitting elements connected to the scanning lines in the non-scanning state and drive lines A1 to An and the illumination luminance of the light emitting elements can be controlled by the scanning lines. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
