<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing film printer which prevents a sump of ink from being formed on the boundary between both parts where an oblong applicator is in contact and not in contact with a substrate when a thin film of the ink is printed on the substrate obliquely disposed. <P>SOLUTION: A level block 14 is fitted into a frame plate 15 from which the part of the level block 14 is cut off and the height of a peripheral part of the level block 14 is made equal to the height of the surface of the substrate 16 fixed to the level block 14. Watering equipment 17 surrounding the frame plate 15 are arranged on the outer periphery of the frame plate 15, water is allowed to flow from slit-shaped water feeding ports (a) directed to the inside and, thereby, water soluble ink stuck to the surface is dissolved and washed. A tray 18 which is a little larger than the frame plate 15 and is similar to the frame plate 15 is disposed under the frame plate 15 and receives the solution after washing flowing down from the edge part of the frame plate 15. A suction port 19 of a pump is disposed on the bottom of the tray 18 and the solution after washing which remains on the surface is allowed to forcibly infiltrate the frame plate 15 by evacuating the under part of the frame plate 15 with the pump. The frame plate 15 is formed from hard type porous ceramic having excellent water absorptivity, highly moisture-absorptive resin, urethane foam, polyethylene foam, rubber sponge and the like. Therefore, the solution after washing which is allowed to infiltrate the frame plate 15 by the pump suction easily passes through the frame plate 15 and flows down and is quickly dehydrated and removed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
