PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external preparation for skin improving fatal disadvantages as the external preparation in that anxiety about discoloration with time at high temperatures is caused though an L-ascorbic acid derivative has high bleaching effects. SOLUTION: The external preparation for the skin suppressing the discoloration of the L-ascorbic acid derivative with time at the high temperatures is obtained by including the L-ascorbic acid derivative and a synthetic stevensite. The L-ascorbic acid derivative used herein is preferably magnesium L-ascorbic acid-2-phosphate. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
