PURPOSE: An elastic coupling structure of a seat pan and chair back is provided to allow a user to sit in a comfortable posture by constantly controlling the tension, and to prevent the noise even when the chair is used for a long period. CONSTITUTION: The elastic coupling structure of a seat pan and chair back includes: a seat pan(20), composed of a net-shaped seat(23) which is compressed and fixed by front and rear frame(21a,21b) and a horizontal support mechanism(22) which is arranged on the bottom surface of both sides of the rear frame(21b); a support mechanism(12), onto whose both side surfaces an elastic support(16,19), fixed to the horizontal support mechanism(22), is fixed respectively and which has a spring member(13) built-in and is mounted on the upper end of a leg(11); an armrest support bar(17b), branched from the elastic support(16) and extended to a rear upper part; and an armrest(40) and backrest(30), mounted on the upper end of a vertical support(18) respectively.
