PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generator set capable of eliminating necessity of embedding electric wiring for supplying power to a starting valve unit, and of changing starting time. SOLUTION: In an internal combustion engine with a built-in package, a main body of the internal combustion engine started by a compressed-air starting mechanism and a generator driven by the internal combustion engine are housed in the package, and the compressed-air starting mechanism is provided with an air supplying part and the starting valve unit having at least a pressure reducing valve and a solenoid valve as components. Out of components of the starting valve unit, components at least requiring power supply are installed in the package. The entire starting valve unit is housed in the package. An air amount adjusting means is provided between the pressure reducing valve of the starting valve unit and a pilot valve arranged in a downstream side of the pressure reducing valve, and the air amount adjusting means can adjust the starting time of the internal combustion engine.
