PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a pressure sensitive tape eliminating defects of conventional technology, increasing usability even under difficult conditions and/or spatially restricted conditions and regardless of simple design of good cost efficiency, and realizing the most suitable sealing. SOLUTION: This pressure sensitive tape has a backing 1 on the upper side of the tape, an adhesive coating 2 of the backing 1 on the under side of the tape, and a removable protective film 3 on the bottom side of the tape, and is for closing, sealing and adhering seams in residential constructions, especially seams at the corners and the edges. At least one first fold section 4 is, in the crosswise direction of the tape, folded along a first folded edge 5 continuing in the longitudinal direction and at least a part of the adhesive tape 2 is not covered along one longitudinal section of the tape with the protective film 3.
