PURPOSE: A plasma display device is provided to prevent a case from being excessively heated by the heat generated from a plasma display panel, by arranging a heat insulation layer on the inner surface of the case. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display device(100) comprises a case(119); a chassis base(113) arranged in the case; a plasma display panel(111) coupled to the chassis base; and a heat insulation layer(123) formed at an inner surface(121) of the case in such a manner that the heat insulation layer covers a certain part of the upper portion of the inner surface of the case.
