PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structurally simple and inexpensive thermal decomposition treatment device capable of surely preventing generation of dioxins and malodor. SOLUTION: This thermal decomposition treatment device 1 has a box-shaped furnace body 2, a partition wall 3 forming a treating object input chamber 11 and a thermal decomposition treatment chamber 12 downward from above the inside of the furnace body 2 by partitioning the inside of the furnace body 2, and having a through-hole 3a for communicating the treating object input chamber 11 with the thermal decomposition treatment chamber 12, and a cylindrical body 4 arranged inside the thermal decomposition treatment chamber 12 by being arranged downward on an under surface of the partition wall 3. Even a very small quantity of combustion air can realize continuous combustion, to thereby thermally decompose and ash combustible waste by generating oxidation reaction at a relatively low temperature. Thus, generation of the dioxins included in combustion gas can be prevented, and generation of NOx (nitrogen oxides) can also be restrained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
