The drive has a drive motor (18) and a reduction gear (19) forming a drive unit. A telescopic tube moves relative to a fixed guide rod (13). Spindles (11,12) are arranged parallel to each other and spaced apart, and are driven in opposite directions so that the drive unit and the telescopic tube move in the same direction w.r.t. the guide tube.
