摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a clock in a device the phase of which is synchronized with an external clock regarding a communication controller which performs communication control by the clock in the device the phase of which is synchronized. <P>SOLUTION: The communication controller is equipped with an SCK panel 2 which generates the clock in the device by selecting clocks from an ECI panel 1, an internal clock generation part, and a plurality of LIUs, and distributes the clock in the device to each part in the device. The ECI panel 1 has a CPID frame generation part 7 which generates a monitoring frame in the device at least with 8 kHz cycle and transmits it to the SCK panel 2. The SCK panel 2 has structure including a selector 8 for selecting the clocks from the ECI panel 1, the LIUs and the internal clock generation part, and CPID, a CPID frame receiving part 10, an FTOP selector 11, and a CPID mediation part 12, a phase synchronization circuit 9 which generates the clock in the device synchronized with the selected clocks, and an 8 kFP generation part 13 which generates a frame pulse in the device the phase of which is synchronized with the selected CPID on the basis of the clock in the device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
