PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color adjusting method capable of reproducing uneven density generated in the axis direction of an ink roller corresponding to an image to be printed. SOLUTION: The method comprises an analyzing step of analyzing a distribution quantity of parameter values of each of fundamental colors for either of vertical and horizontal directions at the time of outputting an image as image data by a color printer for calibration on the basis of the image data, a correcting step of correcting the parameter value of each of the fundamental colors on the basis of the distribution quantity of parameter values of each of the fundamental colors according to a position in the analyzing direction for each of the fundamental colors, and a converting step of converting a combination of the parameter values of a plurality of fundamental colors composed of the corrected parameter values into a combination of the parameter values of the plurality of fundamental colors for outputting colors outputted by a printer from the combination of the plurality of fundamental colors by the color printer for calibration.
