<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that prevents paper from jamming and minimizes a decrease in throughput when paper feed intervals of recording media vary in continuous both-surface image formation. <P>SOLUTION: When the timing of paper refeeding of a recording medium (recording medium P2) fed from a paper feed cassette 11 from a register roller couple 13 and 14 to an image formation part is delayed in the middle of continuous both-surface image formation, the both-surface conveying speed of a recording medium (recording medium P1) conveyed from a both-surface inverting roller couple 17 and 18 to a both-surface conveyance path is calculated in S8 to convey the recording medium accordingly, thereby avoiding paper jamming of the recording medium P1 and recording medium P2 at the register roller couple 13 and 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
