RETREATING CONTROL STRUCTURE OF OPERATION PEDAL FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retreating control structure of an operation pedal for a vehicle capable of reducing injury to occupant's legs by controlling a retreating amount of the operation pedal, that is, a movement amount to the occupant side when predetermined or more external force is applied to a front part of the vehicle.

SOLUTION: The retreating control structure of the operation pedal for the vehicle has a head lamp support 2 displaced to a rear side of the vehicle when the predetermined or more external force is applied to the front part of the vehicle; a support bracket 4 connected to a cabin 1a side of the head lamp support 2; a rotation shaft 6 rotatably supported to the support bracket 4 and extending to a vehicle width direction and a brake pedal 7 supported to the rotation shaft 6; and a lever 8 fixed to the rotation shaft 6 and extending to a vertical direction of the vehicle. The brake pedal 7 is pivoted to a front side of the vehicle by abutting the lever 8 on a strut house 9 at retreating of the head lamp support 2.
