PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a high-purity (meth)acryloyloxyalkyl isocyanate having a very low hydrolyzable chlorine content. SOLUTION: After a (meth)acryloyloxyalkyl isocyanate containing hydrolyzable chlorine is brought into contact with an epoxy compound and an amine at 110-160°C, the resultant mixture is subjected to distillation etc., giving a high-purity (meth)acryloyloxyalkyl isocyanate. By adding a polymerization inhibitor (e.g. phenothiazine), the polymerization of the (meth)acryloyloxyalkyl isocyanate, especially in distillation, can be effectively inhibited.
