<p>The damping arrangement for the lifting structure of a floor-borne material handling unit with telescoping mast sections (10, 30) comprises damping elements which consist of a stiff elastomer, and are attached to the respective surfaces of transverse mast elements (20, 42) coming into contact with one another. These damping elements are shaped so that their deformable area progressively increases during such a contact.</p> |
