The device has an internal gas passage that passes through a body (1) and connects two orifices (4, 5). A damper filter is arranged in the internal gas passage. A thrust nut (6) that is formed integral with the body rotates freely around an axis of the body. The thrust nut has an upstream portion (7) that cooperates with a part of the body and is retained on the body. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) an application of a safety device (b) a method of manufacturing a safety device.
