PURPOSE: A method for ionizing salt added electro-spray is provided to easily perform ionization without reaction to a sample by performing metathesis with respect to carbon. CONSTITUTION: Uncharged, non-basic, and low-polarity samples are analyzed in polarity solvent by adding salt. The uncharged, non-basic, and low-polarity sample is alkyl halides obtained by performing metathesis with respect to one carbon to 20 carbons. The uncharged, non-basic, and low-polarity sample is a volatile organic compound obtained by performing metathesis with respect to one carbon to 20 carbons. The uncharged, non-basic, and low-polarity sample is an ethereal plane obtained by performing metathesis with respect to two carbons to 20 carbons. The uncharged, non-basic, and low-polarity sample is an astral plane obtained by performing metathesis with respect to two carbons to 20 carbons. The uncharged, non-basic, and low-polarity sample is a sulfide plane obtained by performing metathesis with respect to one carbon to 20 carbons. |
