PURPOSE: A system for recording call details in a mobile communication network and a method therefor are provided to add a recording server for recording a lot of call details, and to form a speech path for a call between call parties by the recording server, thereby recording the call details while minimizing an operational profile change of components. CONSTITUTION: An MSC(115) stores information on a recording service as well as information on recording service subscribers(S100a,S100b). When a call is received(S102), the MSC(115) confirms whether the call is registered in the recording service(S104). If so, a recording server(120) confirms that a caller is registered in the service, and authenticates the caller(S108), then delivers an announcement(S110). The recording server(120) requests a call setup(S112,S114,S116). When a response signal for the request is received, the recording server(120) informs a calling terminal(140) of a call permission(S120,S122), and starts recording call details(S124). A call is connected(S126). When a call termination is requested(S128), the server(120) stores a file for recording the call details(S130), and informs a called terminal(155) of the call termination(S132). |
