PURPOSE: A device for supplying power a USB(Universal Serial Bus) device through a USB port is provided to normally supply the proper power to the large-power consuming USB device such as a CDD(Compact Disk Drive) or an HDD(Hard Disk Drive) through the USB port without using a separate power supply. CONSTITUTION: The first power supply(100) supplies the power to the USB device. The second power supply(200) additionally supplies the sub power to the large-power consuming USB device. A power FET(Field Effect Transistor)(20) selectively controls operation of the second power supply according to a specified key input from a user.
