<p>The invention relates to a method for producing 4-haloalkyl nicotinic acid esters of formula (I), wherein R1 represents (C1-C4)-haloalkyl, whereby one or several 3-((C1-C4)haloalkyl-3-oxo-1-alkenyl amino)nitriles of formula (II), (III) and/or (IV), R1-C(O)-CH=CH-NH-CH=CH-CN (II) R1-C(O)-CH=CH-NH-CH(ZR2)-CH2-CN (III) R1-C (O)-CH=CH-NH-CH(Hal)-CH2-CN (IV), wherein R1 has the above-mentioned meaning; R2 represents (C1-C6) alkyl in an identical or different manner and Z represents O, S or NR1 in an identical or different manner, are subjected to a ring closure reaction and simultaneous hydrolysis in the presence of a strong acid. The compounds of formula (I) are used as intermediate products in the production of pesticides.</p> |
