PURPOSE: A web DVR(Digital video Recorder) is provided to monitor and store moving images of a camera server using a network view client in real time and store the moving images in a camera server, and search the stored moving images at the request of a search manager. CONSTITUTION: A web DVR includes a camera server(10), a view client(20), and a search manager(30). The camera server captures a moving image of a camera, provides the captured moving images at the request of the view client and, simultaneously, stores the moving image in a storage unit(15), and provides the stored moving image at the request of the search manager. The view client requests the camera server to transmit the moving image, receives the moving image, displays the received moving image, selectively stores the received moving image, and provides the stored moving image at the request of the search manager. The search manager requests the camera server to search the stored moving image, searches the moving image stored in the storage unit of the camera server, stores the searched moving image, controls a file reader(16) to selectively read the moving images stored in the camera server and the view client, and displays the read moving images. |
