摘要 <p>PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for controlling data transfer in a wireless communication system in order to digest a data unit existing outside a re-configured transmitting window and a re-configured receiving window are provided to enhance the efficiency of wireless transmission and optimize data throughput. CONSTITUTION: A communication system establishes a new radio bearer by driving the first and second stations(100). The first station reconfigures each size of an original transmitting window and a receiving window of a previously established radio bearer and configures each size of a transmitting window and a receiving window of the newly established radio bearer(102). The first station reallocates the first transmission and reception memory blocks to the previously established radio bearer and allocates the second transmission and reception memory blocks to the newly established radio bearer(104). The first station waits for a new data unit needing to be transmitted through a radio bearer(the previously established radio bearer or the new radio bearer)(106). When the new data unit needing to be transmitted through the radio bearer exists, the first station is driven to check whether a transmission memory block(the first transmission memory block or second transmission memory block) corresponding to the radio bearer requesting to transmit new data is full(108). For example, if the second transmission memory block is not full, data unit requested to be transmitted to the second station through the new radio bearer is processed and transferred to the second transmission memory block(112), and if the first transmission memory block is full, a data unit requested to be transmitted to the second station through the previously established radio bearer is prevented from being transferred to the first transmission memory block(110).</p>
