The heating installation has a solar panel (1) which uses solar heat to evaporate water in a boiler (2). Steam from the boiler is used to drive a steam engine which in turn drives a self-regulating air compressor (5) and a pump. The compresser is enclosed in a condenser housing and connected to an expansion vessel. - The exhaust steam is condensed in the condenser (10) which uses waste effluents to condense the steam. The water formed by the condensed steam is pumped back to the boiler. The air delivered by the air compressor is circulated through a heat exchanger (21) to heat water.
