PURPOSE:To elevate application efficiency, by forcing a mobile plug into a column with a mechanical transmission mechanism so as to enable the filling of liquid chromatograph at a high pressure exceeding 30kg/cm<2>G. CONSTITUTION:This method is provided with a mobile plug 2, a mobile plug moving pedestal 3 for forcing it into a column 1, a deceleration mechanism 7 adapted to rotate a motor 5 at a constant speed and a carrier 6 for fixing the column. To force a liquid chromatograph, a slurry-like filler adjusted in the concentration is injected into the column 1 fixed on the carrier 6 from above and then, the mobile plug 2 is mounted to be fixed on the mobile plug moving carrier 3. Moreover, after the mobile plug moving speed is set, the motor 5 rotates at a constant speed with the deceleration mechanism 7 to force the mobile plug 2 and as the load exceeds the value of 30kg/cm<2>G, the motor 5 stops to complete the filling. Thus, a high-pressure column 1 can be obtained with an application efficiency. |
