PURPOSE: A cushion cover of an airbag for a passenger seat of a vehicle is provided to prevent the cushion from being damaged by the sharp corner by covering the sharp corners of the airbag module body and the instrument panel with the cushion cover tearing along the tear line in expanding the cushion. CONSTITUTION: Rectangular blade parts(2a,2b) are formed in a cushion cover of an airbag to surround a cushion folded at four sides, and a tear line(2d') is formed in the cushion cover and torn in expanding the cushion to form the cushion expansion passage. The X-shape tear line is formed in the cushion cover, and a sharp corner of an instrument panel is covered by increasing the length of the front left and the front right. An auxiliary rectangular cover(7) is arranged from the end of the blade part to the center, and the sewing line of the auxiliary cover is placed in the edge of the blade part and the circumference of the front left and right sides. |
