PURPOSE: A semiconductor device is provided to prevent erroneous operation of a driving circuit of a power device by using a detected voltage of a condenser in charging the condenser. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor device includes a power device, and a driving circuit for driving the power device. The driving circuit(36) includes a condenser(56), a first comparator circuit(58), a driving control circuit(60), and a condenser charging circuit. The condenser is charged or discharged corresponding to an external control signal. The first comparator circuit compares a voltage of the capacitor with a first reference voltage, and outputs a first signal based on the compared result. The driving control circuit outputs a drive signal to the power device according to the first signal. The condenser charging circuit detects the voltage of the condenser and supplies a current to the condenser to charge the condenser when the voltage of the condenser increases in a predetermined range.
