摘要 PURPOSE: An address driving circuit of a display panel and its driving method are provided to reduce switching loss and a rush current, and to perform high speed address operation. CONSTITUTION: The address driving circuit selects display cell formed by crossing a scan electrode and an address electrode. The address driving circuit includes a power supply port(Va), a ground port(Vg), the first node(N1), the second(N2), and the third node(N3). The display cell is connected to the third node. A power storing unit(500) is connected between the ground port and the first node. A power recovery unit(502) is connected to the first node, and is connected between the power supply port and the second node, and recovers power to the power storing unit from a display cell capacitor by a voltage induced in the secondary inductor from the primary inductor switched by the first control signal. A power supply unit(504) is connected to the first node, and supplies the power induced in the secondary inductor to a panel capacitor. A power supply switch(Ya) is switched by an external control signal, and is connected between the power supply port and the second node. A ground switch(Yg) is switched by the external control signal, and is connected between the second node and the ground port. A top address switch(Au) is connected between the second node and the third node. A bottom address switch(Al) is connected between the third node and the ground port.
