CORE FOR TRANSFORMER, INCLUDING SUPPORT GROOVES AND SUPPORT PROTRUSIONS COUPLED WITH EACH OTHER, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURE THE SAME

PURPOSE: A core for a transformer and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to allow for ease of manufacture by compressing E-type cores and I-type cores without a welding or blocking process. CONSTITUTION: A core is manufactured by coupling I-type cores(30) to E-type cores(10). Each of the E-type cores has two support grooves(11,12) formed at both ends of the portion which is in contact with the I-type core. Each of the I-type cores has support protrusions(31,32) formed at both ends of the I-type core such that the support protrusions correspond to the support grooves of the E-type core. The E-type cores and the I-type core are uniformly arranged and coupled with each other by coupling the support protrusions to the support grooves, respectively.
